Dev ops, full-stack web developer, UI/UX designer - currently Head of Web Development at YachtWave.

I moved from graphic design to web design, then development, and eventually sysadmin, tooling, and project management - and I find myself frequently returning to my joy of UI/UX design. Twenty-plus years of full-stack web consulting, from Fortune 500s like Intel and Microsoft to small businesses; delivering scalable web applications, seamless integrations, and polished user experiences that actually work.

Tech Experience:

Linux, Apache, NGINX, MySQL, LowDB, Postgres, Git, HTML, CSS/LESS/SCSS/PostCSS, JavaScript, PHP, Wordpress, Laravel, Laravel Nova, Vue.js, Nuxt, React, React Native for Web - and lately I've been really enjoying Alpine.js.

Why "Blindmikey":

The summer before college I was drumming on a Yakima sidewalk with some friends, head down under a hat, when a mother quietly told her son I must be blind and he left a crisp $20 in our case. We weren't even playing for tips. The nick name stuck, and years later when I was starting my LLC it beat anything I could have come up with myself.
